Introduction
Bin Together, LLC is a family run trash bin cleaning service in Northlake, Argyle and Justin, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal filler.
By signing up for service you are agreeing to this policy. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@bintogethertx.com and we will explain it.
What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, community, trash collection day, how many bins you have, and any notes you give us about gate codes, pets or where your bins live.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. When you visit our website we collect standard technical information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Our site is hosted on Framer and we use Google Maps to show our service area.
Photos and video of your bins
We photograph your bins before and after every cleaning, and you receive those photos as proof the work was done. We also record video while we work. We may use service photos and video publicly, on our website and on social media, to show the kind of results we get.
We never include your house number, your street sign, your license plate, your face or your family, or anything else that identifies your address. The photo or clip is of a bin, not of your home. You can opt out at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using your photos and video publicly and remove any we have already posted. You do not need to give a reason.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number we will text you about your service: when we are on the way, when we are done, and occasionally about your account or schedule. Message frequency depends on how often we clean your bins. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service. We do not sell or share your number with anyone for their marketing.
How we use it, and who we share it with
We use your information to schedule and run your service, bill your subscription, text and email you about your service, answer your questions, and plan our routes. We share it only with the providers who help us operate: Stripe for payments, our scheduling software for routing, customer accounts and text messages, Framer for website hosting, Google for maps and analytics, and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information. We do not trade or rent it, and we do not share it with other companies for their marketing. We will disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
Security and how long we keep things
Your information sits with the providers listed above, all of which use encryption in transit and at rest. Our own access is limited to the people who run the business. No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by Texas law. We keep account information while you are a customer and afterward for as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally seven years for financial records. Service photos and video are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
Email us to see what information we hold, to correct it, or to delete it, and we will delete whatever we are not legally required to keep. Reply STOP to stop the texts. Use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails. Email us to stop us using your photos or video. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to appeal if we decline a request. Cookies and children
Our website uses cookies to remember your preferences and to understand how people use the site. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well. Our service is for homeowners and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes and how to reach us
